WHAT IS THE THEME OF 44rd GATHERING OF THE CHILDREN OF EUROPE?
‘ROCK'N'ROLL"
Rock and roll as the theme of this year's meeting of European Children would serve as inspiration for the creation of art (dance, music, multimedia ...) units all stakeholders to participate in the "Joy of Europe". As a musical genre that emerged 50-ies of the last century rock'n'roll united the influences of jazz, blues, boogie, RnB but also elements of folk, spiritual and country music, and as such is able to connect different cultures around the world. This topic would be enough inspiration to all areas of artistic creation, and on the other hand, and universal in its message understandable connection and overcome all differences and boundaries. In selecting the groups' applications, preference will be given to those groups whose performances fit the topic of this year's meeting of European Children.
