The International Meeting of the Children of Europe
JOY OF EUROPE 2010
WHAT IS THE THEME OF THE 41.GATHERING OF THE CHILDREN OF EUROPE?
One of the most notable of Serbian writers, Duško Radović, on the occasion of the first Gathering of the children of Europe, composed his ‘Dictionary of Friendship’, choosing fifteen of the ‘most beautiful’ words for children: child, Europe, bread, play, book, love, mother, peace, father, song, friend, bird, joy, freedom, and sun.
The Festival committee has decided that this year, special emphasis should be put on the concept BOOK from the ‘Dictionary of Friendship’ and has chosen as the theme of the 41st Gathering of the children of Europe: ‘BOOKS ARE WINDOWS ON THE WORLD’.
